To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry. Specializing in land and commercial properties requires unique and specialized training. The Realtor Land Institute, sanctioned by the NAR provides just such advanced training, Frank Roberts holds the highest ranking of ALC, Accredited Land Consultant. Coursework includes in depth courses and training in 1031 Exchange, financial analysis, site selection, transitional land, creative land planning, etc. To achieve ALC a licensed Realtor must complete all of these courses and sell more than $5Million in land sales, just to qualify. There are currently only 39 such ALC''s in Texas.
